I am a chef by trade. I use the language of food as a vehicle to connect people, community, and culture. I have been a caterer and restauranteur for the better part of the past 15 years. I opened Soulyve Caribbean Kitchen 10 years ago after running my catering company for four years prior. In that time, I have driven the restaurant to heights previously unimaginable for ethnic food in Orangeville and the Dufferin County area. With the expansion of Soulyve from 30 seats to over 100 seats, the restaurant welcomes thousands of guests each year, many of whom come from outside the area. Soulyve has become a destination restaurant.
